Absolutely NO. No f#cking way. This will be serial killers or sociopath's fav movie. This is not art. It is debauchery from the mind of a weirdo. I can't beleive Poor things won over Barbie. The Academy is one misogynistic bunch. But this movie makes Poor Things look like a Disney movie. No.

It does look incredible and like they shot it at the same time and on the same characters as T2. However I prefer how it originally looks in all it's grainy non high def and nostalgic glory. It's should still look like a piece of it's time personally and not updated to the modern look and high definition of the two. That's one of the things that's so interesting about T2 in comparison to Trainspotting. The low def to high def contrast helps convey the passage of time.

Am I the only one who likes the original Alien better? Aliens was a great movie but that original was so amazing and much more interesting. Aliens, as he rightly says, devolves more into an action flick.
